Orthotics

What are Orthotics?

Orleans Dynamic Foot Clinic customizes and conducts foot orthotics. Orthotics are biomechanical medical appliance that is custom made to the client to comfortably support their feet. They aim to fit comfortably like an insole in your shoe.

Cryos orthotics are advanced-technology supports created using a 3D scan that moulds to the unique traits of your feet. They help ease pain and improve posture. A flexible and dynamic design makes them a comfortable, easy-to-use addition to your lifestyle.

Why should you wear Orthotics?

Custom orthotics guide the feet into alignment and restore balance, which can improve athletic performance, reduce risk of injury and relieve pain in the knees, hips and lower back. They can also relieve foot fatigue and discomfort. Dynamic orthotics allow the foot’s natural range of motion but limit bad tendencies in movement, returning the foot to its optimal position and functioning.

Orthotics vary in size, color, material, and shape. They can comfortably fit in most shoes by removing the insole that came in the shoe. We also provide custom orthotics that can accommodate speciality shoes, like sandals.

Our custom made foot orthotics are made special to fit your foot, it should not be confused with over-the-counter arch support insoles. Over-the-counter insoles are not customized to your foot, so they may not fit properly and may only temporarily relieve your pain. Your foot condition may even get worse if they are worn long-term. It is strongly recommended that you customize your orthotics to cure your discomfort.

If you think you need orthotics then you can book a consultation on our website or call us at (613) 424-9339.
